As long as you are a current UMBC student, you can join our staff, and help put together a fantastic book. Come find us at one of our events or send us an email at bartleby@umbc.edu with your name, major, and staff you want to join, and we’ll add you to our listserv.

If you’re looking to earn some credits, joining the Bartleby staff can count as English 495 credit. Check out our internship page for more information!
As a staff member you are responsible for:
- Attending the (usually) biweekly meetings, as well as any events
- Reviewing at least 80% of submissions to your section
- Spreading the word about Bartleby – posting fliers, and copies of the magazine around campus
- Maintaining and adhering to our Code of Conduct
